Pecha Kucha Mexico City
The Pecha Kucha presentation format, gaining popularity in the early 2000s, was an event I began organising with university friends at the traditional Mexican cantina, El Salón Covadonga. These events united a diverse community of creative professionals, including visual artists, architects, and performers. Held on the last Tuesday of each month, we featured around 10 presenters showcasing their work, fostering a vibrant and interconnected creative scene. I take pride in the fact that our event was one of the initial spin-offs from the original Pecha Kucha in Tokyo, contributing to its global spread.
